Rick Abbot has taken his flair for farcical situation comedy and his art of comic timing another step up the ramp of audience hysteria with The Bride of Brackenloch, perhaps his wackiest farce. Regulars at The Players' productions are still chuckling over our extremely well done production of Abbot's June Groom and there are still indentations in the carpet where the audience rolled in the aisles during our production of Abbot's Play On! So leave your inhibitions at the door, because here we go again!

The melodramatic setting of the haunted ancient Scottish (of course) manor, the arrival of the unsuspecting bride, the legend of the monster of the loch, unsolved murders and disappearances, the handsome brooding groom and a menagerie of weird servants and sexy neighbors provide this Ghastly Gothic comedy-thriller with all of the material necessary for a theater experience that you will want to enjoy again and again.

Did you know that the production photographs of The Players' Play On! (also directed by Mr. DeWitt) are being exhibited in theaters all over the world?  We fully expect The Bride of Brackenloch! to reach that level of notoriety. Don't miss it!.
