Christine Emmert (Mrs. Watts)
Christine has had a long life in the theater. She most recently appeared in The Glass Menagerie at the Montgomery Theater Project before taking on the role of Carrie Watts. Her credits are too numerous to list, but parts include Miss Julie, Melissa in Love Letters, Agnes in FourPoster, Lady Brackness in Importance of Being Earnest, and Mary in Long Day’s Journey into Night. In addition to her acting work Christine has written several produced plays and taught acting, theater history, and playwrighting.

Barry Childress (Ludie)
This is Barry’s fifth show with the King of Prussia Players. He’s enjoyed performing several of his favorite roles here, including Reverend Haye in The Crucible and Andrew Borden in Blood Relations. He has also appeared in area productions of Brighton Beach Memoirs, Inherit the Wind, and Solid Gold Cadillac. Thanks to my family and friends for their love, support, encouragement and patience.

Carolyn Curran (Jessie Mae)
Most often seen in musicals, Carolyn makes her debut with the King of Prussia Players in The Trip to Bountiful. Carolyn’s last appearance was as Eliza Doolittle in Candlelight Dinner Theatre’s My Fair Lady. Favorite roles include Sara Brown in Guys and Dolls, Kate in Kiss Me Kate, Lola in Damn Yankees and Guenevere in Camelot. Thanks to Bob and sweet children: Bobby (The Rock), Kelly (a True Dixie Chick) and John (Donald).

Jan Clarke (Thelma)
Jan is pleased to return to King of Prussia in the role of Thelma. She last appeared on our stage as Jenny Malone in Chapter Two. Jan has performed with a number of theater groups in the region. Her favorite roles include Katherine in A Perfect Ganesh and Marion in Absurd Person Singular. When not absorbed in a challenging on-stage role, she pursues her off-stage interest---set design.

Richard Emmert (Sheriff)
Richard creates in both the visual and performing arts. His sculpture and paintings are in collections throughout America and Europe. His thespian life includes Felix in Odd Couple, Andy in Love Letters, James in Long Day’s Journey into Night, and Henry in Lion in Winter. He was most recently seen in the 1999 Fringe Festival production of Spoon River. In addition to acting, Richard has worked as a set designer and director.

Jim Ludovici (Harrison Ticket Man)
Jim welcomes this opportunity to do a role that's a change of pace from his usual louder roles. Most recently he was seen in the Player's production of Lend Me a Tenor as Tito, and his last dramatic role with the group was as John Proctor in last February's Crucible.  Other groups he's performed with include Rose Valley Chorus and Orchestra, Playcrafters and Kennet Square Park Summer Series. He'll soon be appearing in his first Shakespearean role, as Hortensio in Barley Sheaf Players April production of Taming of the Shrew.

Larry Anderson (Houston Ticket Man)
Larry has been a member of the Players since 1972 and is happy to be able to help out with this production. He graced the stage twice last year with roles in The Murder Room and The Crucible. His next challenge will be directing the May musical, Carousel.

Eric Clayton Waters (Houston Ticket Man)
The Trip to Bountiful is Eric’s first performance with the King of Prussia Players. In high school, he participated in a theater group that performed fairy tales for elementary school students; he played a crotchety old king in The Princess and the Pea. Eric has completed two years at Temple University, and is currently in the midst of a year-long sabbatical. He traveled in Europe for three months and has played in a band. Writing and performing songs on the guitar are his primary artistic endeavors, but he is happy and proud to be part of this production and thanks his fellow Players for all of their talent and hard work on the show. Message to Mom: Thanks for the love and encouragement!

Charles Bendas (Co-Director) Charlie has been doing “character” roles periodically over the past few years. He most recently appeared in You Can't Take it With You at Town and Country Players. He most recently directed Pirates of Penzance for Thespis, Ruddigore for Rose Valley Chorus and Orchestra, and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying for Upper Dublin Players. Charlie has also done summer children's theater.

Charla Bendas (Co-Director) Charla has been directing with Charlie and is currently directing Bugsy Malone at a local middle school. In addition to that, she has been a backstage manager, and general techie for many years for RVC&O. Future projects include The Pirates of Penzance in Arden Delaware later this spring. Charla also performs standup comedy, which has made this particular show an incredibly interesting change of pace and challenge!

Janice Jankowski (Producer) Janice is an accomplished performer in her own right, having graced our stage in numerous productions. Here she steps off the stage and into the office to deal with the hardest job in theater, managing the production.
